Reading God’s Word: Deuteronomy 1; Psalm 98

Memorizing God’s Word:  Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Meditating on God’s Word: Deuteronomy 1:21 See, the Lord your God has given you the land. Go up and take possession of it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, told you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, it is so easy to get discouraged by the people and events around me. It seems that the world is out of control. At times, I find myself afraid of what the future might hold for me. Thank You for Your reminder today that just like the Israelites, I do not need to be afraid or discouraged because I have You! Help me to remember today as I go about my daily routines: You are by my side! Amen.”
