Praying God’s Word: “Lord, You know betrayal. More than any of us, You’ve lived the pain it brings. And yet, You didn’t lash out; You didn’t seek revenge. Even as You dipped Your bread in the same cup, You loved. Knowing full well what Judas would do, You still called him friend and washed his feet. This is the way of Jesus, and this is my calling as well. Help me, God. Help me love my enemies, because that’s how you have loved me. Amen.”
