Global Missions

PRAY

Praying for our short term and career missionaries is one of the most important ways of supporting them. It’s a great way to be personally involved in their ministry and in missions.

GIVE

Our career missionaries rely solely on the monetary gifts of others for their support. If you want to designate a gift to missions, please indicate that on your offering envelope.

GO

If you feel led to explore participation in missions through a short term trip or a career in missions, come see us in the Missions Office. We would love to talk to you.

“Leading People in the Adventure of Becoming Like Christ”  . . . throughout the World.

Locally and around the world, we carry out the great commission of Jesus found in Matthew 28:18-20 to make disciples of all nations.

Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.”
(The Message)

Missions Strategy

Our priorities in missions are concentrated in the following areas according to Acts 1:8.

He told them, “You don’t get to know the time. Timing is the Father’s business. What you’ll get is the Holy Spirit. And when the Holy Spirit comes on you, you will be able to be my witnesses in Jerusalem, all over Judea and Samaria, even to the ends of the world.”
(The Message)

  • Ministries reaching across cultural lines and meeting practical needs in our own community.
  • College ministry —we believe the training and equipping of young leaders to be essential to the development of the church of Jesus Christ.
  • Bible translation and church planting ministries to unreached people groups.
  • Our secondary focus is on evangelism ministries, service and assistance ministries, and ministering to human needs.

Loving God

We focus on showing others how to love God by living among them and giving them the Word of God in ways they can understand.

Loving People

We meet the world where they are and try to supply their needs both spiritually and physically.

Living
Surrendered

We invite you to join us on this wonderful adventure of living surrendered wherever God is calling you.
