Reading God’s Word: 1 Thessalonians 2:1-16; Psalm 99

Memorizing God’s Word: John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

Meditating on God’s Word: 1 Thessalonians 2:14 “And then, dear brothers and sisters, you suffered persecution from your own countrymen. In this way, you imitated the believers in God’s churches in Judea who, because of their belief in Christ Jesus, suffered from their own people, the Jews.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, I want to pray for all the people around the world who are being persecuted for proclaiming Your name and Word. Thank you for their courage and their provision of  an example of what it means to follow You completely. Bless them and their families in the midst of their difficult and painful circumstances! Give them strength and boldness…and let me gain from their strength to live each day fully devoted to You. Amen.”
