Reading God’s Word: Mark 1:23-45; Psalm 31:9-18

Memorizing God’s Word: John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 31:14-15a, “But I trust in you, LORD; I say, ‘You are my God.’ My times are in your hands…”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, in the moments when life seems most out of control, I need to be reminded that my times are in Your hands! You hold the time of my waking up and my falling asleep. You hold the time of my feasting, and the time of my famine. You hold the time of my brokenness, and the time of my healing. So regardless of what today holds, let me learn to say with the Psalmist, ‘I trust in you, Lord,’ because You will hold me fast. Amen.”
