Meditating on God’s Word: Luke 11:32 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. And behold, something greater than Jonah is here.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, I love Your Word, and how You use it to point us back to You. You use Jonah’s story for many reasons, and here you demonstrate the redemption of the people of Nineveh and how their repentance was powerful enough to give them authority to judge the world and its sin. God may we be mindful of Your power and authority. Amen.”
