Reading God’s Word:

Matthew 12:22-45; Psalm 13

Memorizing God’s Word:

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
– Matthew 11:29

Meditating on God’s Word:

And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
– Matthew 12:31

‬‬‬Praying God’s Word

Wow, Lord! I want to always heed the warnings of Jesus, and this rebuke of the Pharisees was the strongest you gave. This wasn’t just slander against Jesus, it was a full and final rejection of Him. They blasphemed the Holy Spirit because it’s the Spirit who testifies of the Son. The hearts of the Pharisees had grown so hard, that even seeing the miracles and ministry of Jesus with their own eyes wasn’t enough to change them. A genuine follower of Jesus can never commit this sin, but I don’t ever want to disregard the Spirit’s work in my life. Make me soft toward your leading, and quick to obey you! May I confess every sin as you bring it to mind, and testify with every opportunity that ‘every kind of sin’ can be forgiven in Christ! Amen.
