WEDNESDAY: 1-13-21

Reading God’s Word:  Matthew 9:14-38; Psalm 9:12-20

Memorizing God’s Word: Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Meditating on God’s Word: Matthew 9:36 “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, we all like sheep have gone astray. All of us have sinned and fall short of Your glory. All of us turn against You and hurt Your heart. And yet, You look at us not with contempt, not with hatred, but with compassion and love. You long not to pronounce punishment on us, but to shepherd us, to gather us, to nurture us, to care for us. You long to forgive us, to reconcile us, to bring us into Your family and to make us like Your Son. O Lord, continue to remind us in our moments of weakness and discouragement that Your look is not one of hate, but one of steadfast love. And help us to see others in the same way, even when they sin against us. Amen.”
