‬‬‬Praying God’s Word

Father, someone has once said we are most like you when we forgive. We live in a “get even” world where forgiveness is a rare virtue. Yet if we truly understand the forgiveness we have from you we cannot help but forgive those who sin against us. After all, any sin we may do against you is infinitely worse than any sin someone does against us. Forgive us for our unforgiving spirit and help us to be a forgiving, tenderhearted people so we can be like you, a forgiving and compassionate savior! Amen.
