Reading God’s Word:

Matthew 12:46-13:23; Psalm 14

Memorizing God’s Word:

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
– Matthew 11:29

Meditating on God’s Word:

Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
– Matthew 12:49-50

‬‬‬Praying God’s Word

Jesus, what an unbelievable honor! It’s the promise throughout Scripture: you don’t just call disciples, you adopt children. Your blood has made a new people for God, and given us a new identity. No longer slaves, but sons and daughters. No longer strays, but brought into your very own family! And it’s an invitation with no prerequisite. It requires no lofty status or family ties. The invitation into God’s family is open to all who believe. Father, thank you for this incredible gift! It’s your will that I want to do today. Amen.
