Reading God’s Word: Matthew 15:29-16:12, Psalm 17:1-7
Memorizing God’s Word: Philippians 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Meditating on God’s Word: Matthew 16:11 How is it you don’t understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, in this time I am surrounded by so much information. So many voices and messages that seem right. That seem biblical and maybe even feel good. But you warn us to be careful that it is only your true word that we are hearing. Lord, help me to discern what is right from what seems right. Lord help me to turn away from the false teaching that leads me astray, and help me to use your Word as a guide. As I am right now, help me to seek you from what you have revealed about yourself, and not just what others say. Lord, I want to truly know you. Thank you for the brothers and sisters that you’ve placed in my life who are seeking the same, and coming alongside me in this walk. Thank you, Lord. Amen.”
