Reading God’s Word: Acts 14:19-15:21, Psalm 107:1-16
Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 53:6
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 107:8
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.
Praying God’s Word:
Lord, there is so much to thank you for! We give you thanks today for the “wonderful deeds” the Psalmist mentions! But most of all, we thank you for your unfailing love. Even to say that phrase is so amazing and encouraging at the same time. “Your unfailing love.” Never, not once, have you ever failed to love us. Never. Not once, have you ever failed to love us less than perfectly. Your love for us this moment is deep and strong, resilient and unconditional. And your love, your UNFAILING love, endures forever! I want to join the “them” in this verse to give thanks to You Lord for your unfailing love! Amen.
