Daily Devotions

Reading God’s Word: Acts 21:27-22:2; Psalm 113

Memorizing God’s Word: Jeremiah 29:11-12
For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord,” plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Meditating on God’s Word: ‭‭Acts 21:36
The crowd that followed kept shouting, “Get rid of him!”

Praying God’s Word:
Lord, give us courage from the crowd. We so easily seek favor. We continually crave validation from those who have no authority to give it to us. I stand amazed to watch your followers stand firm as fists shake in their face. I am humbled as love is reflected back from calls of curses. Father, in you alone we find our identity, our validation. Jesus, may we be like you and never seek human approval but live from the approval the Father has already given. No matter the cost. Amen.
