Awana is a Bible-based evangelism and discipleship program, beginning at Lorain in February, that will give children, K-6th Grade, the opportunity to know, love, and serve Jesus and begin the adventure of becoming more like Christ, no matter their background. Each week, children will participate in Biblical lessons, games, and Bible memory to learn about Jesus and help them develop socially, relationally, and spiritually.
Character Matters: Loving and Living Like Jesus is a study of what it looks like to Love God and Love People. Examine what it looks like to love like Jesus by studying the people portrayed throughout scripture and learn from the good and bad examples. Learn to be, not only a hearer of the Word, but a doer as well.
