Lorain Campus

Sunday Morning Worship at 9:00 and 11:00 am

Since February 9, 2020, we have been at home in Lorain at the former YMCA, 1121 Tower Blvd. On Sundays, come in the front door to a bright and friendly space full of people who want you to feel part of the family. The goal of every Sunday is to honor Jesus and grow closer to Him and each other through singing together, prayer, and time learning in the Word (Pastor Jim Mindling preaches most Sundays via live video feed).

Each weekend we are led in live worship and kids’ ministry is provided only during the 11:00 am worship service for newborns through 6th grade. You will be blessed by our intergenerational and multicultural family who pray for Lorain regularly and love being a light in this community.

Know that we celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month and we take an additional offering (benevolence) for those in need inside and outside our church.

In addition, we offer classes regularly on baptism; membership; belonging at Church of the Open Door; Loving God, Loving People, and Living Surrendered; and more. A message from Pastor Jason

Welcome to the Lorain family! I’m so glad you are checking out our page. My wife, Ginger, and I have been praying for you and we look forward to meeting you on a Sunday morning soon. The people of Lorain Campus (LC) have also been praying for this community for years before we launched and I invite you to allow God to use our team to bless you and your family—Joe Gonzales leads our youth, Stephanie Carrell leads our children, and Tony Reyes leads our worship & tech teams. There is a place here for everyone and I believe God has been working to bring you here so that you can join the Lorain family in the adventure of becoming more like Christ.
